Most of Bexar County is San Antonio, but its edges are still ranch country. North and northwest it turns to Hill Country limestone and cedar; to the south it flattens into brush, mesquite and sandy loam.
The work follows the land. North, it is roads and pads on rock and slope. South, it is brush clearing, pasture reclaim and tanks built to hold water in open country.
Plenty of the acreage here is held for a family, a lease or a future build. Whichever it is, the first step is the same: walk it, and say plainly what the ground allows.
